Troy McDonald has over 20 years of professional construction experience in Alaska. Working on home repair projects alongside his father at a very young age gave him a lifelong love of carpentry and mechanics. These days, Troy’s son enjoys helping him with projects.
From firefighting with Hotshot Crews throughout Alaska and the lower States , to cold climate construction in Fairbanks with Carpenter’s Local 1243, he has gained a wide range of personal and professional experiences helping others feel comfortable and safe in their homes. Troy McDonald is a longtime Alaska resident and enjoys spending time with his wife, son and friends fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, and rock climbing.
